Ms. MacDonald I believe formally took her married name, 'Bourgeau', and has a big following in France, too, for posters not based here in the U S. I am simultaneously reading books by these ladies and think their work has the potential to be enjoyable.
Sorry to hear no one has yet read any works by either of these two. I just finished my first MacDonald read, NOT GUILTY, and were it not for some typos I would give it 5 stars (gonna have to give it 4 1/2).
This is suspense on a level of JAGGED EDGE or BLACKOUT in the '80's, where events that seem unrelated & people who don't seem to tie in with the story actually do. It was a suspensful read that included everything from the perils of marrying a parent and remarrying when you are a parent to psychological causes of migraines, sociopathic personality disorder, and long unsolved crimes. I just checked out two more of this lady's books & hope I will enjoy them as much.
I read Perfect Match and Change of Heart, both by Jodi Picoult. I liked both books very much, but I especially enjoyed Change of Heart. I have never read anything by Patricia McDonald.
